 How to Play Poker
Poker has rapidly become one of the most popular games to play online. There are many variations of the game and whilst they are relatively easy to learn how to play, all versions of poker can take a lifetime to master. The most played poker game currently is Texas Hold'em Poker. Poker

Texas Hold'em hands are made up of your best five cards, consisting of any combination of 2 cards dealt to you, known as Pocket Cards or Hole Cards, and any of the 5 Community Cards dealt face up in the middle of the table by the dealer. Once the Pocket Cards have been dealt the first round of betting takes place.

After all the players have either bet, checked or folded, the dealer lays down the Community Cards. The first of these 5 cards are known as The Flop and consists of 3 cards, all dealt face up in the middle of the table. Note, the Community Cards are shared by all players at the table.

After another round of betting, a fourth Community Card is dealt face up by the dealer, this card is known as The Turn Card. The Turn is sometimes referred to as Fourth Street.

After a third round of betting, the final Community Card, The River card, is dealt - and placed alongside the other Community Cards, again face up. The River Card is sometimes known as the Money Card as it often makes the difference between winning (money) or losing (money)! Further betting ensues as the remaining players attempt to win the Pot on the strength of their cards.

32Red Casino offer these useful poker tips

1. Five of the total of seven cards eventually dealt are viewable on the second round of betting. At this point you should have a good idea of how strong your final hand could be.

2. To compete a possible winning combination, you should consider how the five Community Cards interact with your two Hole Cards.

3. Fold if necessary! You can limit your losses if you have a poor hand and decide to fold early in the hand.
